William J. Inman
William J. Inman (founding partner) brings expertise in personal injury, workers’ compensation and insurance law to the firm, having won thousands of settlements for injured workers. He has tried cases before the Courts of the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and both regions’ Workers’ Compensation Commissions. A 1993 graduate of The George Washington University National Law Center, with a Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Inman is a member of the Maryland State and District of Columbia Bar Associations, and the Maryland Association for Justice. He is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth District. Mr. Inman graduated cum laude from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 1990 and as a member of Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society. Though raised in a military family, he spent his formative years in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
David S. Greene
David S. Greene (of Counsel) adds invaluable experience, litigation skills and insights to our firm, having specialized in personal injury and medical practice cases since 1967. Early in his career, Mr. Greene successfully tried cases involving auto collisions, local bus companies and claims against state and local governments, and he was involved in two major product liability cases against the Ford and General Motors auto companies. He has also tried train-injury cases and as part of a team, received the largest jury verdict ever recorded in the Pearl River Circuit in Mississippi. Mr. Greene has been involved in numerous birth trauma and other medical malpractice suits.
Throughout his career, Mr. Greene has served as a member and principal of several law firms, starting with a 22-year tenure at Kamerow & Kamerow, and then with Shapiro, Meiselman & Greene (later Meiselman & Greene) where he was a partner. He was a principal in Apfel & Greene from 1996 until it was dissolved in 2001.
Mr. Greene has tried cases in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the General Sessions Court for the District of Columbia and the Circuit Courts for Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. A life-long Washington area resident, he received his Juris Doctor degree from The American University Washington College of Law, where he was a founder and the first editor of the law school newspaper. He is a graduate of Dickinson College.
David J. Kaminow
David J. Kaminow (founding partner) has successfully represented debtors and creditors in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland for more than 15 years. He has tried cases for plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial matters, including debt collection, contract interpretation and enforcement, real property disputes and other matters. He has spoken to numerous audiences regarding debtors’ rights and responsibilities.
Mr. Kaminow, whose practice also includes personal injury and automobile accident cases, is licensed to practice before all local and state courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia and before the United States District Court in Maryland, where he has tried and won many cases. He has litigated matters before the Appellate Courts of both jurisdictions.
Mr. Kaminow received his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from The George Washington University National Law Center, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, cum laude, in 1990.
Gerald I. Holtz
Gerald I. Holtz (of Counsel) has enjoyed a successful career as a personal injury expert; as a partner, senior partner and managing partner in numerous area firms and as a sole practitioner. During his career, he has been honored as one of the Best Lawyers in America and named one of the Super Lawyers in Maryland and the District of Columbia by his peers. He has also been published and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of Washington, DC for which he has served as president and in other officer roles. Mr. Holtz’s other participation includes membership in the Maryland State Bar Association, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. His civic involvement includes leadership positions with the King Farm Civic Association, the City of Rockville and as a member of the Columbia (MD) Council.
Mr. Holtz is licensed to practice before the Maryland and DC Courts of Appeals; the United States District Court for the DC Circuit; the U.S. Court of Appeals, DC Circuit; the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth District.
Mr. Holtz received his Juris Doctor degree from The American University Washington College of Law and a BA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
